I never fished one but when I saw it in person an felt it in hand the new handle design was pretty damn nice. I would probably buy one.

Even though I really don't need one I'm thinking of buying one now.

I never lab tested the MGX spool but when I had one I fully tightened the drag and pulled on the line and there's no way the reel had 12lb of drag, that's round reel territory. Not a fan. For my tastes it's hard to beat the raw graphite look.

Cal, palm-ability wise how does it compare to the 100dc and conquest 50?

Hopefully one of these days I will be able to fish that lake. All the pics of the fish I've seen come out of the lake have been huge.
