Arkansas Shiner Twitchbait (Jerk bait)
I see that there’s a great variation in the color schemes under the color pattern of Arkansas shiner. Years ago I would use an Arkansas shiner that had a pearl belly and a brownish green top. Today I’m seeing a brownish green top but the bottom a darker earth tone with little contrast between the be...

DAIWA UVF SALTIGA DURA SENSOR Braid?
I came across this line browsing through Ebay looking for deals on Saltiga EX12. Anyone try it? How does it compare to G Soul Upgrade? On a side note, I just spooled some Seaguar PE X8 Lure Edition (14#) and it broke twice while spooling it. Needless to say, I removed it and am looking for an altern...

Re: Looking at a Daiwa Certate LT 3000 or 4000
Maybe someone here can weigh in. I'm looking to get a Certate LT in one of the above sizes, but being that'll I'll buy it online I cannot compare them side by side. Really I'm looking at a reel that is very similar in size (not necessarily weight), to a Ballistic LT 4000, or a Stradic Ci4 4000... p...

Re: Daiwa Back Bay
I've had the 4000 for over a year. It's very nice, smooth and strong. IMHO, the only drawback is the line capacity... wish it held a bit more for those times when a brute hits.

TT Sponsors with Custom Reel Parts
Not sure this inquiry is allowed here, but I'd like to now if any of the TT sponsors can get custom parts?
In my case, I'd like to customize my Ryoga with a longer handle, maybe new bearings, etc.

Ryoga Supertuning?
Any recommendations on someone that can give my Ryoga 1016, a once-over? It needs cleaning and lube, but I'm also considering replacing the bushings, bearings and drag washers...

Re: Daiwa Millionaire M7HTMAGST
The common low drag for common non-oceanic/big game reels... The usual 5-6kg. Are you sure about the pinnion and maing gear supporting the increased drag power? To be honest, I'm not sure. I have heard that a common upgrade to these reels is better pinion (actually a pinion sleeve), but I don't kno...

Daiwa Millionaire M7HTMAGST
This is one of the great surf casting reels having won several distance casting competitions. Having said that, it has two weaknesses. No clicker, AND a very weak max drag of 11#. The clicker doesn't bother me, but the weak drag does. Is there any way to increase the max drag capability? I don't thi...

Re: Completed my first Point Blank build...
I have a Point Blank 731MXF that I'm about to start building. I went with Fuji components (SKTS split reel seat, split handle design, cork rear grip and matching fighting butt, K series guides, etc.) We'll see how it turns out. It'll be paired with a Daiwa Ryoga 1016 (JDM).

Re: K2 Blank Sensitivity Compared To NRX, Conquest, Poison Adrena Level Rods
I really wish I had the same experiences as everyone else since I loved my K2’s. Unfortunately all they did was break. Even had the replacements break. All breaks occurred while casting well within lure weight range within the first couple trips. Phenix customer service was terrible as well and too...
