Quoting from another TT member "WOW", that is one sweet looking machine. Hard to tell the color match in the picture w/ your boat. a Triton I believe, but it looks like a great combo. Congrats on a very nice purchase.

Re: high cost of tackle and the falling dollar?
Well boys, we can't all live in the USA, but we can certainly spend our money there. I've bought 3 reels in the USA this year, with the dollar being what it is, I can buy a Curado 100/200 on line for $165 - $175. Same reel up here is $268 CDN + tax = $300. I'm certainly not complaining and I thank y...

Re: Need help choosing a new baitcasting combo
I agree w/ none. With $300 I would order an Curado 100 or 200HSV from Delo's or Reel fishing deals for $165 (will be delivered in 2-3 days) and then buy my Crucial rod at either Cabelas or BPS for $129, preferably the CRCX610MH or CRCX66MH. This is just my opinion.

Re: spinnerbait reels any suggestions
I use the revo-stx hs w/ a crucial mh 610 rod w/ xfast tip and really like it. This is a dedicated set up which Casts 1/2 oz spinnerbaits lures easilyand at great distances.

Re: What is your favorite??????
I did have a separate rod/reel combo for both both flippin and pitchi, but lately I go mostly to my Crucial CRCX72H and the Quantum Tour Edition PT burner.
A bit heavy, but I just enjoy using it for this vs the others.

Re: What's with the fishing gloves?
Geez it must be my feminine side coming out. I like to use one when I'm taking hooks out of a northern pike or a muskie. I kinda get a little nervous when I'm looking up close at all them teeth!

Dicks Daiwa Capricorn
Got a Dicks Sporting Goods flyer here in Cinnci and noticed they had a Daiwa Capricorn 9 bearing Capricorn BC and a 8 bearing spinning reel.
Has anyone tried these, are they a good product?
They list them as normally being $140, and on sale for $80.

Pitchin reel help !
What do you guys recommend for a good" STOCK" pitchin reel. I have 1 of the TDZ's 105, Revo STX-HS or was looking at buying a Curado 100D. If I buy a new reel, it has to be in the $200 range.
Never pitched before, could use some help. What do you use.

Well I went and picked up another rod so I need another reel. Contemplating buying the Curado 100D but the Scorpion 1000 or the Scorpion 1000MG seem very good also. Probably use for throwing lures 1/4 oz and up. Would love to buy the Conquest 100,but I don't think there is anyway I can swing that.Ad...

1st and foremost, that is one sweet reel!! 2nd I voted gold, don't want to much colorful stuff, it takes away from its natural beauty. LOL
