Finesse plastic/jerkbait rod
I’m a big mb fanboy looking for a rod to toss 3/8-1/2oz jerkbaits and zoom flukes on a 3/16-1/4oz ball head in the bay. I first thought windbuster and a Airity 3000xg but I’m not really a spinning fan which led me to looking at a silver wolf. What would be some MB options for those applications?

Very curious about this reel for tossing 3/8-1/2oz jerkbaits in the salt from the shore using Varivas Avani Seabass max power PE1.0. How is the line capacity on this reel for this application? It caught me eye being that it was designed for thin braid and I’m trying to get more distance being shoreb...

Re: New Poison Adrena
I have not but relegate those duties to the 7’4 H , it’s important to remember that the adrena line is using blanks that cater to the japanese market vs American so what I mean is that they tend to run a little lighter and have a deeper parabolic bend than the Expride line. My 7’3mh (Pared with a m...

Re: Deps sidewinder Dom Driver
Thanks cal. I didn’t know the rod weighed in at 270g. I know a few people toss the Deps 250 on it. I’m pretty much stuck between the Dom driver and the leviathan omega xh

Deps sidewinder Dom Driver
Hello TT
Does anybody have any first hand experience with the Deps HGC-80XH/SE Dom Driver? I’m really thinking about picking one up but want some input on the rod before I drop $700+ on it.
Thanks

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods
Anyone tried this particular model? https://www.megabass.co.jp/site/products/vks-88-96mh-55/ At this length and at 267gram would it be heavy/ tip heavy/ tiring to fish? I'm tempted to try this but wondering if glass composite blank is good for such length compared to graphite. Thoughs? Do your othe...

Re: Valkyrie VKC-78H-4
I ended picking up a 78H-4 it’s a super impressive rod being able to load and launch a 3/8oz jig head with a diezel minnow a pretty good distance for a rod rated to 4.2oz. I’m now looking at the VKC-68M-4 for more of a all around rod for t-rigs to top water

Whats up TT
Does anybody have any first hand experience with this reel that has used it in the salt? I’m mainly looking to see how the magnesium frame is holding up. I picked up a lucky craft surf rod and that reel would match up perfectly with that rod but the mag frame is keeping me away for now.

What’s up TT I recently picked up a Valkyrie VKC-78H-4 for an all around rod. It’s very impressive rod being able to cast a good distance with a 4” diezel minnow and a 3/8oz head but I need a little bit more sensitive/crisp rod for the bottom contact stuff. The VKC-78H-4 is now going to be used for ...

Re: Valkyrie VKC-78H-4
I use it for musky and glide baits for bass lol. Most everything i use is between 1.5 to 4oz. I ended up picking one up. It’s a very impressive rod it’s fairly sensitive for being a carbon/glass blank. I’m using it for 4-6” paddletails in the bay but now I’m looking at Triza dragoon. I need a littl...

Re: Shimano Conquest dc
It’s not the matter of the reel holding up but it’s the line capacity for larger baits. The reel hold more than enough 20lbs for a larger baits like a Deps 250 but the issue you run into is your ipt is going to really suffer on a bomber of a cast that’a one of the reason people like 400 size reels i...

Valkyrie VKC-78H-4
Hello Does anyone have any experience with this rod? The length really caught my eye specially since I fish from shore. I mainly toss 3/8oz Warbaits underspins with a 4” swimbait to and occasional 3/8oz t-rigs to beat the skunk and weedless 5-6” swimbaits in the bays. How well would this rod do at t...

I recently had to perform a warranty claim with my new Steez AGS Universal Light casting rod last month. I have noted the process below for ease of use. Please ensure you double check everything as you want to make sure you explicitly follow all the directions on the claim form. 1. Download the Rod...
