Re: Shimano Stella FK Spool

Might want to take a look at the schematic on both reels to see if they share part numbers--chances are the 2500 and 3000 have the same body like most other Shimano spinning reels. https://fishshop.shimano.com/collections/stl2500hgfk https://fishshop.shimano.com/collections/stlc3000xgfk Looks like ...

Shimano Stella FK Spool

I have a stella fk 2500s and was wondering if I could buy a bigger spool to able switch up depending on what I'm fishing for, thinking about a 3000 size but I'm not sure if it would fit :-k

Has anyone switched up the spool before?

Re: Studio Composite rods

Just got the rod in today, the build quality is excellent and it feels stout probably because of how thick the butt end is. I test casted a weightless senko just to see how it’d do and it loaded it decently well. Can’t wait to get it on the water.

Used mine a bunch since i purchased it. Cought a couple of muskies and a few smallies in the low 20's with it. Easiest 10/10 rod in a long while for me.
I just ordered the 7103-5 model, plan on using it as a do everything rod for when I travel. What have you been throwing on yours?

Re: 2023 Steez A II TW series in Saltwater?

Curious about this too, I have one and was considering using it for saltwater. It is magsealed as far as I know the same as the silver wolf which is marketed as a saltwater reel.

Saltwater safe baitcaster

Looking to get a baitcaster that is safe for light saltwater use, I'll be pairing it up with a studio composite transworld 3 power rod. It's going to be a do it all combo that I also want to able to use whenever I go to the beach once or twice a year. I was considering the conquest MD, daiwa silver ...

Re: Studio Composite rods

I’ve fished their Transworlds since they first came out (7606 is my overall favorite one) and also really like their new For The Beast models with the new fatter carbon grip. Like all their other products, extremely high quality and top shelf performance for sure. I really don’t think the Transworl...

Re: Steez A II Tws

Yep. Got 2, will be picking up a 3rd. Why would you think it wouldn’t be good for pitchin’, if I may ask? That’s the 2nd thing I bought it for. Crankin’ is for the first. I'm not sure, that was based on others comments about the hlc spools not being suited for pitching. I think they are 2 different...

Re: Steez A II Tws

Does anyone have any on the water experience with the steez a II yet? Was thinking of getting one to toss around worms but recent comments saying pitching with this spool would be a nightmare has me second guessing it. Yep. Got 2, will be picking up a 3rd. Re: Daiwa limitbreaker

Yeah looks like their version of dc which can connect to an app on the phone. Not sure what all you can do on the app though. I also spied via catalog a listed price 125k yen. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not too keen on using a phone to do anything to a reel on the water. Guess I should ...
