I do not have the Launcher, but do own the EMTF second gen. For the baits you're anticipating to chuck, I'd go EMTF. The Launcher I assume is a considerable bigger bait rod. Currently using an Orochi Jerkbait Special. It's been well this past fall, winter, and coming spring. Long enough for casts, nice fast tip, but a nice parabolic bend as well. It doesn't feel sloppy soft. I'm going to try out the Expride 6'10 M as well. Hopefully soon.
