I find that the bigger size work better and slower downward twitches work well. I fish it on flouro to drag the nose down a little so it doesn't want to come out of the water as much. I am just hoping they get the quality under control. I have had a few stcroixs and while I have found them to be great rods I certainly do not want to look at them. The wrappings are horrible. If they can roll down the quality from some of their top-end it might be worth my money.

Don't know if you are looking but Colorado custom trout worms makes some really good finesse swing heads with tungsten. They are super cool I can go even below that rating that you mentioned. I have used them and they are great in finesse situations.
