Re: Favorite type of topwater bait?
I find that the bigger size work better and slower downward twitches work well. I fish it on flouro to drag the nose down a little so it doesn't want to come out of the water as much. I like to target cast it to the edge of structure and grass and work it very slow and tight. Osp has a great example...

Re: New St. Croix Bass Rod
I am just hoping they get the quality under control. I have had a few stcroixs and while I have found them to be great rods I certainly do not want to look at them. The wrappings are horrible. If they can roll down the quality from some of their top-end it might be worth my money.

Re: Ebay prices
Certain things in the fishing industry right now is like printing money. Some almost immediately sell out as soon as they come in. People who are opportunistic see a chance and will take it. It is the same thing that is happening with GPU's in computers right now. Hopefully, stocks go back up soon a...

Re: Small swinging heads?
Don't know if you are looking but Colorado custom trout worms makes some really good finesse swing heads with tungsten. They are super cool I can go even below that rating that you mentioned. I have used them and they are great in finesse situations.

Re: Rapala Ripstop jerkbaits all bills broken off
My dad and I use a ton of those and I've never had a problem breaking them off. My dad has never broken one either and he's they let it bounce off the rocks into the water kind of guy. I would contact rapala. I know that Megabass stands behind their products in that sense and that would be surprised...

Re: Is there that much "junk" line making it to shelves?
I definitely think it's a combination between user error and everybody thinking they can make good line. They're definitely lines that are better than others. gozen 16 for instance will just be the absolute best line ever but somebody will still use it for the wrong application or not spool it corre...

Re: which spinning reel if someone else paid for it?
For me the tech and body of the exist makes it the winner. honestly though any reel at that price point is going to be very good. There's definitely a diminishing return when you start getting into that ultra high price. The refinement of all those reels are going to be excellent and it just comes d...

Re: Why no interest in the Daiwa Rebellion?
The roads look good but the lock nut looks incredibly uncomfortable. That's what I've heard from most people is that that tends to bother them. Seems that the cuts are a little bit too sharp. Apparently they sell really well according to the hookup. I think it's one of those things where they are a ...

Re: Kayak anglers: Which inflatable PFD?
I use the onyx one and have never had any issues. It has never deployed erroneously and is super comfy. It is missing some pockets and loops which some people may like. I don't like anything dangling around my chest so it is no big deal for me. I would suggest trying out an NRS Chinook comfort wise ...

Re: No Shipping to the U.S. From Japan?
That is super unfortunate. Usually they ship my stuff FedEx though. And I wonder why like you said if it's stopping in April why can't they ship it now? Seems like an odd situation. Hopefully they will rectify this soon I like ordering from them.

Re: USPS delays without any reason
USPS is horrible when it comes to shipping rods. I have a medium length driveway and they won't even carry them all the way up. Had someone put down a rod in the middle of the driveway and then it got crunched by mom my backing out :/

Looks like an ark reinforcer rod. Not sure which model but it looks pretty close. Correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Is Lucky Craft out of buisiness
Lucky craft has definitely had its struggles lately but they are bringing back a lot of their old products and more and more stuff seems to be popping up daily. Hopefully, soon we will see a rerelease of some of those BFS favorites. Their bass baits have been getting new lures almost monthly.
