Yes it does. I'm pretty sure USDM and JDM 24 Metanium DC are basically identical except for the 6.2 gear ratio is not available in the US.

The Metanium has an Mg side plate. It is not CI4. The Aldebaran uses carbon side plates, maybe that is where the confusion happened. Stripped threads in the composite side plates isn't very common.
