Hey guys, I need the part number for the handle assembly of a 24 Metanium DC 71XG please.

Thanks.
PN: 1469V

since the reel just came out I don’t think shimano north america will have any parts available for at least 6-8 months but Bantam1 can confirm or not

Re: Core 50 Sideplate Screw

There was a change to the part number a while back. The new global part number is 10LZD. We are currently backordered until 8/25, but I think we can match it up if you stop by. it just hit me that 10LZD is listed as the updated replacement for TGT2882 which is in stock on the site so I assume that ...

Re: 21 Calcutta Conquest 100HG pinion replacement

I sure hope that is a mistake. Especially because the 24 Shallow Edition shares the same pinion. I think the Antares uses the same main and pinion also. same main, different pinion for the 19 antares which is pretty common in shimano reels. for example the 2012 antares maingear has been used in the...

21 Calcutta Conquest 100HG pinion replacement

Just wanted to double check If this is a weird error with the inventory because of the parts number system migration or if it’s actually true. Both the old pn:BNT6844 and the global pn:100HY are showing as discontinued on the site. Surely this isn’t the case right since the model is only 3 years old

Re: Core 50 Sideplate Screw

Bantam, From the schematics (thank goodness I keep all of them), it's labeled part 4044. It's on the handle side, which has 2 screws, both 4044. I found a site that has aftermarket screws, which says replace part number BNT 4044. But I'd rather get it from ya'll. i may or may not have one i gotta c...

Re: 14/15 Calcutta Conquest 200 clutch bearing removal

The bearing is pressed into the side plate and not east to get out. Usually it requires a delicate beating with a modified flat blade screw driver and a hammer, or the use of a good blind bearing puller. Usually they will only cause noise if there was corrosion in the bearing. It is very rare for t...

Re: 14/15 Calcutta Conquest 200 clutch bearing removal

related question, would a “bad” roller clutch cause noise. Bad in quotations because aside from the sound and feel it’s still functioning normally, no slipping, locks up perfectly without excess play, etc. Swapped every bearing on this reel just to make sure and when I turn the gears while it’s open...

14/15 Calcutta Conquest 200 clutch bearing removal

Anyone got any good ideas on how to get this thing out. As it stands the opening is only wide enough so that the biggest socket I can use to push/tap it out will only push the plastic cage out of the bearing housing leaving it stuck in the sideplate. This is a first for me.

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

It looks like the side plate was on the loose end for tolerance for sure, or the bearing has been pressed in and out way too many times creating excessive wear. I think I could have found a tighter fitting bearing to work, but glad you were able to find a cheap side plate for it. Doubt any bearing ...

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

Welp turned out to be a side plate issue after all, inside of original side plate had heavy wear/damage marks and the new clutch was even looser in it. Thank god japanese used marketplaces exist because I managed to luck out and find a guy selling a reel he parted out and snagged a side plate assemb...

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

As it is our repair department only receives parts once per day. I handle those orders and restocking our department. I did not know that, neat. I noticed the store site inventory going wonky whenever I would check during crackhead hours of the night and Im assuming this is the explanation for that...

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

I agree but it's been that way for the 21 years I have been here. We have never sold parts over the counter and we have never offered will call. If the new bearing is still loose bring it by with your side plate and I can find one that fits tighter for you. The counter for repair is open 8-4:30. I ...

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

You would be surprised. I can grab a different bearing from our drawer and have it fit tight in a side plate like that. It happens as it doesn't take much difference in dimension to have a bearing fit loose. I can say I have never seen a side plate wear out from use like you are describing. It coul...

Re: 12 Exsence feel on retrieve

There are tolerances on the side plate and roller bearing. Add a little ACE2 grease to the pocket if the new bearing is still loose. There are differences in the bearings for tolerances as well. There are also differences in the internal size of the rollers. One bearing may reduce handle turning fo...
