Why would you need stronger magnets? If the spool works in a reel with stronger braking force, it will work on the steez103, its just gonna be faster inside a steez than something like the tdz. Fun fact the whine isn’t inherent to the dc system and can be programmed in/out or even programmed to sound like something else. A guy in japan who was savvy with programming microcontrollers made his scorpion dc7 which was the only dc reel to come silent from the factory sound like a certain japane...

Only differences will be the gear ratios/spool depth variations offered which will be obvious by model name.
