Re: Your opinion on the Daiwa's Zero Adjuster

Non event for me. I'm on my 2nd season with my Steez CT and haven't had the need to even touch it.

Re: Tackle Loss Support Group

My tale of woe happened last summer. Was skipping piers with my prized Steez CT. Made a cast and my jig hit my trolling motor resulting in a birds nest an eagle would be proud of. Decided the best bet was to cut off the line and respool. It was choppy so I moved out from the piers and just as I star...

Re: Has anyone put a clear coat on their TD Ito?

A few years ago I had the same idea. I tried it on the left sideplate on a RH ito. It looked good, but it started peeling pretty quickly to where I eventually just rubbed the rest off. I'm not a painter and just sprayed it on with no prep work, so maybe that's why it peeled.

Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down

I've bought several Megabass rods thru Gary and unfortunately, broken a few. Between Gary and Megabass USA, the warranty process was not only painless, but actually enjoyable and I received replacements much faster than I would have expected. Phenomenal folks to deal with!

Re: Steez Rattling

If you remove the sideplate, use a small screwdriver to press the tabs against the frame. That should tighten it without having to glue it.

Re: Tackle Trap/Pike Road Reel Service

I'm very surprised reading this as my experiences with Bryan servicing one of my reels and answering questions about others and numerous transactions with Gary, have all been outstanding. I won't hesitate to do business with both in the hopefully near future. Dan

Re: **New set of MB offerings**

Like Teal, I've broken a few as well. Both Gary at The Tackle Trap and Catherine at Megabass were incredible to work with and I was amazed at how quickly I received replacements. Customer service at its finest!

Re: carrying spare baitcaster spools

You can fit 3 or 4 spools in a hard glasses case. Add some packing material and they won't move around. Works well for me.

Same here in Waukesha, WI. I went specifically to buy some Missile Baits Ike's mini flip jigs and they had raised the price from earlier in the year, so it looks like they were offsetting the 15% off.

Re: Best bottom contact rod for under 150$

timsford,

I haven't thrown any moving baits on it, just 1/4-1/2 oz jigs and t-rigs. It's a more moderate fast action and not a broomstick, so I would think that either the MH or H action would work for you. You might ask Gary, I'm sure he can better answer. Dan
