I have an accurist PT that I want to spool with braided line. Should I use a mono backing for it? I want to use it with frogs and for pitching and flipping. any thoughts?

Anyone have a recommendation for a hand held GPS? I would like to get one, maybe between $50-$150. What features would you recommend that come with it? I want use it mainly so that I can pinpoint some of my fishing holes. Thanks

I currently use yo-zuri 12# on my curado, I like the line. I use some of the KVD line conditioner and it helps.
