Re: Daiwa SV Light LTD

Casting a weightless Senko isn't too difficult Sure it is with a 7-6” flipping stick and a millionaire ! I was speaking of the BFS qualities that you discounted with this reel and not much from you on the 1/16 oz Ned Head capabilities.hmmmm.... Reread my remark.Weightless 4” senko and I neglected t...

Re: Daiwa SV Light LTD

It wouldn't be my first choice for weightless plastics. It's not a true bfs reel by any means. It is however an outstanding power finesse machine. 3/16 total weight is where it really starts to shine. And then of course, you can also use it for baits up to a half ounce. I like this spool better tha...

Do the US Pros beat around the bush avoiding talking about the reel or is it random footage they just had lying around 🤷🏻‍♂️
Do you see any announcement on the Daiwa USA website ?

Re: Daiwa Steez Air 2020

I love BFS fishing and in case of moment of inertia of spool can be reduced, it makes BFS fishing even more enjoyable. If momentum of inertia is small, lighter rod can be used. And casting control is better because smaller amount of magnetic brake is enough to control spool. Small diameter of spool...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

Oh yea sure today is the day i learn all daiwa reels are jdm design reels and daiwa is a Japanese company. What i meant is those were tweaked from JDM versions to move as high end jdm style reels for north american market. Exactly...released different reels... doubt you will see the Steez Ai...

He didn't say JDM reels, JDM design reels. Z200, Zillion and pixy type-r. Oh yea they moved so well, Daiwa NA won't forget that.
Those are JDM reels only except the Zillion -R.
They were never found on the USDM Daiwa website.

All Daiwa reels are JDM designed.
Daiwa is a Japanese based company

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

I am seeing a lot of “we get this and we get that”. Unless you are in Japan... you haven’t gotten anything yet. The Australian crowd gets something different. The USDM models haven’t even been released yet. Sure you can order from Japan. My guess is the Steez Air is a Japan release only And they app...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

I'd really like to hear what the haters actually want out of daiwa ? :-k It seems we have some keyboard commando engineers among us... Not one of the commandos...if it does not interest me... I just use what I have, till they come out with one that interests me. Right now... I have a interest in th...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

I have a couple of ZPI spools in the OG Tatula SV reels and I will tell you that the ZPI spools are great in the CT SV Platform. So much so that I have been trying to source spacers to allow the SV 32mm spools to be used in the current 100/Elite frame which accepts a 33mm spool. The main reason is ...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

https://youtu.be/jRw_USlFJNM Yay more spiders... Well at least they didn't say if it wasn't 10:1 i would've missed the fish... Its meme-worthy to joke about, I joked about it too. I have been and have seen situations where a fast reel is the difference. Jumping out the most to me was when my buddy ...
