Megabass F4-71T Tomahawk 2021?
In the never ending quest for a very nice Squarebill rod I see these are on preorder. My question is the F4 power rating. I have 6’10” St Croix Legend Glass and while I really like it the better mouse trap is out there I know it. I have the medium heavy version and was curious if the F4 might be clo...

Re: St Croix Legend Glass
I bought the 6’10” MH and like it so far. I’ve only caught a couple of fish on it. I have a Revo Winch on it but have gotten spoiled to the ALX sized reel for fishing moving style baits. I’m going to order a Lews MB in 5:6.1 and try it out. I’ll change out the handle and the knobs. I’ll also give it...

I’m a Gloomis guy and I fish crankbaits with a E6x cbr. I am very intrigued by the Legend S glass rod for Squarebilling. Anybody fishing with is line of rods?

Re: Chatterbait rod
I have been using the Gloomis E6x Inshore 7’ MH Fast 20lb Sunline FC Sniper with ABU ALX. One of my very first Chatterbait fish was 4.8lbs. I tried a softer rod couldn’t stand the lack of feel if you know what I mean.

Re: Abu Garcia Revo Rocket
Great reel. I have one that I fish Redfish with. It's not a Rocket per say anymore because I changed the gear's in it to 6.4:1 while I was changing that I added a set of Hedge Hog Studio Kattobi ZHI spool bearings removed the magnets and tuned the drag. On yesterday evening's fishing trip I caught a...

Re: Costa Del Mar sunglasses...
I have a pair of green mirror Fathoms and there great for sunny days but when it get's overcast there to dark. I have a friend who's a sponsored Costa Del Mar Pro and he swears by the Wave 580 amber lenses for all fishing condition's, these lene's are supposed to be really good for site fishing. My ...

Re: Baitcasting reel
Buy one of TD Advantage versions excellent reels for the price. The base Advantage is $99.99 and the Super Tuned HST is $139.95 can't go wrong with either.

Re: Fuego, Alpha, or Zillion
You guys are so wrong about what an Alpha can or can't handle. I fished bass 20 years ago and now fish strictly saltwater mainly Redfish and there's no Bass I ever caught that could out pull a Redfish and I've caught a 10 1/2 lb Redfish with 20 lb braid on my Alpha and had no problems landing that f...

Re: casting with a TDz type R+....
This is what they say at Japan Tackle. This 2002 Type-R and 2003 TD-ito reels have the same keenest casting performance among tuned TD-Z. These have the least brake force at slow - mid speed range to cast longer, and smoother. 2004 Type-R+ has more brake force, at the middle of stock TD-Z and this 2...
