Re: sunline almight?

i sent an email to sunline requesting the almight be made in a hi-viz yellow or green. i like the way this line performs, i just wish i could see it better. i have a new pair of rx sunglasses ordered with green lenses. i'm hoping this helps with contrast between colors. i've also upsized the line to...

Re: Any Panfish Enthusiast On TackleTour?

crappie fishing is what has gotten me into bfs. i keep trying small t-rigs & 1/8oz bass-type jigs, but i can't seem to get it working. i have had a little luck on 1/8oz spinnerbaits & chatterbaits. back in the winter, i was catching a few big crappie on a jerkbait. i'm hoping this winter get...

Re: sunline almight?

i got the line in monday, got it put on a reel yesterday, and got to fish today. i'm pretty pleased with it, other than i wish it was more hi-viz. i got the pink, but it's pretty dark. it seemed to sink much better than the ygk oh dragon i tried a couple of years ago. i can't remember what size i go...

Re: Pitching performance & leader length

i prefer a longer leader as well. it seems to help get the knot thru the guides for me.

have you had any problems with x9? i was having trouble yesterday breaking the line above the knot while tightening down tying a new leader on

Re: Braid to Leader - what's your knot of choice?

i'm not sure what know i'm using is called. it's like the albright or alberto, but i just wind up 10 wraps, then come back thru and improve it with 2 extra turns around the leader loop. i've tried braid multiple times with spinning and just could never get a feel for it. i'm using it now on a bfs se...

Re: Moving to lighter gear due to injury?

i've got away from spinning with a 7'mmh brent erhler rod/steez ct combo. it doesn't throw 1/8oz shakeyheads that well, but i generally use 3/16 & 1/4 anyway. my age has got me using hi-viz line for all bottom contact now. i'm using sunline night fc in 17# for t-rigs & jigs, and 10# dunk sni...

newer tatula sv spool options?

what options are there for the newer tatula sv's? i've got 1 of each gear ration, and 1 of the spools goes from choked to wild in 1 click. i've swapped the spools depending on which line i wanted to save, and noticed the when i had braid on it and in a 7:1 i wasn't really getting very good distance....

Re: Tatula Signature Series

i should probably have said depending on weight of those baits. i don't throw swimbaits much, and it's always on at least a 3/8oz head.
