Re: how to transport rods
Hey skeeter, how well do those BPS rod socks work on 7' rods? I was going to go with the Stick Jacket rod socks but those are about twice as much as the BPS ones.
thanks
thanks

Hook It Hook Organizers...
Has anyone seen or used these before? I was watching a video on Tackle Warehouse and saw that Elite Pro Jared Linter had them in his tackle box to organize his hooks and they looked great. I contacted TW and they sent me to the website I have linked. I already ordered a couple packs, I'll let you gu...

Re: Need a new reel for jigs / soft plastics, come in and he
Yeah I already have a couple Fuegos and they seem to be better suited for 3/8oz & up baits. I am interested in that new advantage though.

Nothing against Shimano at all. I just prefer Daiwa.
I will eventually buy a Scorpion and or a Chronarch 50mg because I really want to try them out.
thanks

Re: Need a new reel for jigs / soft plastics, come in and he
Thanks for all the replies, I still haven't decided what I'm going to go with yet. I have a couple Fuego's already and I prefer them for moving baits like spinnerbaits and cranks. I have a Pixy and I LOVE it but, I'm worried that it won't hold enough line for making long casts to fish deeper Jigs an...

Need a new reel for jigs / soft plastics, come in and help..
For the past few months I've been using Revo SX reels on my jig and tx rigged plastics rods. I've decided they're just not for me and will be going back to Daiwa on those rods. So here are my requirements for the two new reels im gonna buy: Must be Daiwa $250 limit Excellent pitching Decent line cap...

Machine Gun Cast or Hyrbid?? AND Shaky Spinning Line help...
I'm currently using Sunline Machine Gun Cast 16lb line on my Jig / Soft Plastic setups and Hybrid 12lb on my spinnerbait and Hybrid 8lb on my Shaky Head casting setup. My question is do you guys think that Hybrid is a better choice for Jig/Worm setups becasue of its low-stretch abrasion resistance o...

Most used tournament lures...
I was going through some old issues of Bassmasters reading the recaps from the Elite tournaments and it seems like the majority of the tournaments are won with a jig or a tx/carolian rigged soft plastic. You rarely ever see jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, or buzzbaits mentioned in the recaps of the top thr...

Re: Downsizing...
Heres an example of what I meant, take lipless cranks for example, instead of having rat-l-traps, rattle n' vibes, arukus, lv's, super spots, and diamonds shads all in my lipless crank box, I'm going to downsize to a couple diffrent brands with a few colors and use those. That way you have more conf...

Re: Fun with fluoro
Well you get an A+ for grammar BUT, your still not a bass. If a bass can see the line don't you think they can also see the hook and tell that a lure is in fact fake? These are not smart intellectual creatures. Whenever I pick out line, visability is of least concern to me. I'd like to know why you ...

Re: Fun with fluoro
interesting read.
just one thing, with all these "visability" tests, aren't we forgetting that we are trying to catch bass, therefore the HUMAN eye has no bearing in these experiments. It doesn't really matter to me wether a scuba diver setting under the water can see my line or not.

Downsizing...
So I'm going through my tackle today to get an idea of stuff I need to order. And I decide that I need to downsize my tackle. Not by the quanity of stuff that I take with me but, instead by the variety of tackle I use. For instance, in my Finesse Worm box, I have 8 diffrent brands of finesse worms w...
