Re: Do braid scissors work?
I've been thinking of getting some of the specialized scissors for cutting braid. Do they work on 14# braid and smaller? Do they last reasonably long? Thanks. Definitely get proper PE scissors. I have scissors from Owner, another one from Japan(cant remember the brand) and also a Berkley one (the ch...

Re: RCS drag tuning kit for certate
For certates of 1500-3000, you need the S/M drag tuning kit. Its worth it IMO, I've gotten a kit for all my certates both post/pre 2010.

Breaking off 80LB leader on a straight pull!!?? Barra breaking 80lb leader is more often than not, attributed to their razor sharp gill rakers and raspy mouth more than a straight pull. I was planning on going to Lake Nasser for some Nile Perch action in a few years, but why go there when I can go down under for some great barra! There's already a place in Florida that you can go to for farmed barra I think. I also saw a clip on utoob where Capt Chauncey catches barra stateside. A...

Its an extremely expensive process (not to mention time consuming) and seeing as ur not a local (neither am I :D ), it would probably be a futile exercise. What you...
