i also use te200gt's but for those long wades throwing topwaters they can get a little heavy. great reels though.

hey fellas, i just piced up a castaway titanium hg40!!! 6'5 red and specks special. i'm prolly gonna get a new curado 100 to put on there. i know you guys are mainly freshwater, but what do you think? i'm not sure if there is anything that can beat a curado for weight and durability. i want this rod...

pujols over ensberg???? Ensber is 3 homers behind and has a much higher batting average. It is early my friend, but watch out for ensberg and the stros. they do have a better record than the red birds. :lol:

my friend loves my calcuttate200gt's and wants a round baitcasting reel. any ideas for an affordable round bait casting reel for freshwater? if you have an idea for a rod that complements the reel please mention. thx a lot.

simple question, when fishing with conventional tackle, would you rather use a bait casting rod of spin casting rod for bones. i have very nice casting reels (te200gt's) (at least i like them and think they are very nice) and a decent spinning reel. All help is appreciated

the reel is a shimano symetre spinning reel the 2500 series. The rod is a falcon lowrider mansfield special" 7foot, 10-17 lb line. tell me what u think. i wanna add it to my bait casters to tackle south texas reds and trout.
