Re: Curado K....5 gear ratio?

I’d be another voter for a 5.xx ratio k. An option is buying a jdm bantam with the “pg” gear. Probably the route I’ll take.

Re: Curado 71hg gear swap?

That is very impressive. Was it difficult to acquire the parts? Expensive?

Re: SOLID! - The Shimano Bantam MGL Baitcaster

I love the bantam. To date it’s the smoothest reel I’ve owned. The size feels great. If they’d make a 6oz magnesium version (or a mag curado 71) it would likely be the only model of reel I’d need.

Re: 2018 Curado DC (Merged Topic)

Been quiet in here. What's everyone's thoughts of the Curado DC now that it has been out for a bit? It’s a fun reel to fish. It’s not the end all idiot proof reel it gets made out to be sometimes but with a little tuning on the spool tension knob it becomes really user friendly. It really does skip...

Re: Dimensions

Hmmm that’s a shame considering how useful it could be. Maybe the TT guys can put this in their reviews?

I appreciate your time and you trying regardless.

Re: Dimensions

With the tons of online buying now it would definitely help customers make a good comparison between reels. For example the Chronarch vs Metanium. I have a Chronarch mgl and would like to make a guesstimation on how a Metanium would feel in comparison. I don’t know, it just seems like a helpful bit ...

Dimensions

Are dimensions available somewhere? Height from the foot to the top and also length would be very helpful information. I looked but couldn’t find it.

Very cool. I saw the promo video for it this weekend which is one of the best I’ve seen.

Re: 2018 Curado DC (Merged Topic)

Sweet goodness.....

This is one time I’m bummed about using lefty reels. Waiting for a 150 would be bad enough but the 151 in September is going to try my patience. I haven’t been this pumped over a reel in years.

Re: 2018 Curado DC (Merged Topic)

The current Scoprion DC is a 200 size reel with a modified 100 size spool. The Curado DC is a 200 size reel with a 150 spool. The K body is much smaller when compared to the Curado I body (Which the Scoprion DC is using). While the DC system is more simple in design, the braking curves were program...

US Warranty
Micro-Module Gearing
Latest i-DC system
Those are good reasons. Hopefully good enough to hold off till September.
