Re: New Reel Coming This summer????
Chronarch Ci4. Which is weird because I though the Core was the baitcasting mate to the Ci4 but whatever.

Re: Why Wacky Rig?
Alright, let's fix you. 1. If you're losing baits you're doing it wrong. Take about a 2" piece of eletrical tape, cut it in half length wise and make a band around the bait where you hook it. That fixes that. 2. You can fish a wacky rig in one place a lot longer than a texas rigged senko. A pop or t...

Re: Rigging Giant Worms 12" or Bigger
The fish hit big worms by the head 99% of the time. I've taken to nose hooking big trick worms because my hook up rate is so much better. The only problem you may face is with bulky worms. You just need enough gap for the bait to pass and not ball up and get in the way.

Re: Hand Tied or Banded Jigs?
I'm mixed. Hand tied will last longer and the colors stay positioned but I make my own jigs 99% of the time so have I pre banded skirts I can mix and match with different heads on the water. I have a Plano box full of heads and another box full of skirts I make during the winter. I never run of out ...

Re: Jumping Fish
Disengage the spool, keep slight pressure on with your thumb but let them run. If they don't feel pressure they'll take off for the bottom again.

Re: Shakey dropshot
Just a nice semi-slack pop set works with either one well. You can also save some guessing, after 3-4 fish you can usually tell which one they want on a given day and then go with a straight shakey head or drop shot. I have, however, had days where they'll alternate, or caught double (spotted bass L...

Re: Multi-bait rigs banned in Elites and Classic
I've never thrown one but I think it's sorry that they banned it. It wasn't based on catching fish in a "sporting manner" or fish health or anything like that. Look around, do your research, fisheries biologist have all come out and said they don't do any more damage than normal baits. If you're af...

Re: Spro "Superstar"
Those look a lot different than the ones I used to have. They were designed by OT Fears, it had a very unique blades, kind of a willow leaf chopped in half and rounded like a colorado blade. The wire was very thin but super stout and the angle of the eye was really unique. Wish I could find more.

Re: Trokar treble hooks
For me and quite a few people I know who win a lot of money, the KVD Elite's are garbage except for on rattle trap style baits. One a fat body crank, they kick in too much. On a fat body crank, once the bait blows their mouth open the hook points face the wrong way. When they first came out I was us...

Re: Oxygenator problem.....2 much H2o???
Please Release Me or Sure Life is fine. A minute amt of salt is fine for the fish, it also has a light sedative to keep the fish from thrashing around and hurting themselves, plus it helps build them slime coat. Depending on the water temp I might suggest adding some ice (bagged ice is actually fine...
