Re: Need help choosing a new baitcasting combo
None, I would get the new Advantage HSTA that is a sweet reel paired with a Dobyns 704c Champion series, 300 dollars total right there. Now that is what I call a sweet combo I have one so I should know. If it was me I would choose the HSTA over the Fuego.

Re: Your Favorite Deep Diver Rod
No question I would go with the Dobyns 706CB it can handle a DD-22, and the others listed as well the 705CB could handle a DD-22 but it might be a little light for it the 706CB would be perfect for what you are looking for. If you want a longer rod the 805CB is what you want.

Re: Personal experiences
The 705Cb is a work horse, possible but would not suggest to throw DD-22's, but just flat out sweet throwing med- diving cranks great feel plenty of power and a nice soft tip to keep from ripping the bait away from the fish. Well worth it for the price point.

TDZ 105H mounted on a Dobyns 766 Flip would not trade this combo for the world.

Re: Need a new Jig rod
Depending on what length you like, if you like 7'6 rods the Dobyns 766flip is the rod for you. If you perfer shorter rods then the Dobyns 736C is a perfect choice. Even shorter the Dobyns 705C would be great as well. It all depends on how long you like your jig rods. I perfer a little stiffer rod wi...

Re: chatterbait rods?
I throw mine on the Dobyns 735C Champion series I do not like a soft rod when throwing a chatterbait it is a single hook lure like a SB or swimming a jig. I also throw it on braid and I want some backbone when chunking braid. Also a chatterbait has a thick hook and I want it to get good penatration ...

Re: ultimate spinnerbait rod...?
I see most of you have posted 7 ft or under, well I perfer a longer rod that is just me. My ultimate SB rod is the Dobyns Champion series 733C nice tip for roll casts and plenty of back bone to get them out. That is my ultimate SB rod.

It all depends on length preferance I would go with the 703c because I perfer the longer rod. It is all preference.
