Re: My first MB

That Super Red Demon is just incredible. Falcon is an ideal proving ground for it too... I really hope you post up some pics and your impression on it's performance in that nasty heavy cover down there. Next time I go back to Falcon, you bet I'll be taking my Super Red Demon with me :evil22: I most...

I did a lot of looking and after some help from bronzefly I decided to take the megabass plunge and get the super red demon. This rod is an absolute beast and I cant wait to get it o...

I second tackletrap...I love tw just as much as the next guy but bronzefly is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to mb rods so I will be getting mine from them even if tw starts carrying them.

Re: swimbait rod for deep cranks

Thanks for the reply bronzefly. The stick I buy would be just for deep cranks and nothing else. I love the tomohawk just haven't found one for sell yet. The BP def seems capable I'm just hesitant of the telescopic feature...that has never worked out well for me  I could be in major trouble I k...

Re: swimbait rod for deep cranks

Check out the Orochi FX-81X4 Black Python. Mine has seen limited use but it handles a LC Flat CB20 with ease as well as a Mike's 5" BullShad or Deps Buzzjet. It's rated up to 2oz but more like 1.5oz with 3/4 to 1oz being it's sweet spot. Makes a killer long distance spinnerbait rod as well. I have ...

swimbait rod for deep cranks

Does anybody else use light duty swim bait rods for deep cranking? I noticed Aaron Martens using a white python for throwing deep cranks and it sparked my interest. It seems like every crank bait rod I use feels under powered when it comes to deep cranking so this might be my solution.
