Re: Most abrasion resistant mono?
I would choose CXX over Sufix any day. I fished deep cranks in rocks with 10lb tritanium sufix (supposed to be highly abrasion resistant) with numerous break offs during hook ups and casts. Said never again. I fished the next week with 8lb CXX in the same places with zero problems. No Sufix line com...

Cumara/Crucial/Mossyback
I am looking for two new rods, one for 1/8 shakyheads and one for 3/8 to 1/2 oz football jigs. Does anyone know the comparative sensitivity between these 3 rods:Cumara/Crucial/Mossyback. I am currently using a 6'9 ML Woo Daves BPS rod with a braid/fluoro setup for shaky and a 7'Falcon Original serie...

Re: Lures stores don't have...
I would love to see the original, no rattle RC1& RC3 in stores. Also sparkle blade pulsators more readily in my area.

Re: Anyone tried the new LC Cranks?
I tried the SkeetTrap a while back. Its bill was shredded after a day of fishing. I caught a couple of fish on it but nothing amazing. I hate spending that much money for a lure that wears out so fast.

Braid/Rod action
I would like to try braid for pitching jigs to treelaps, docks, stumps, etc. Is one rod action better than another. What about a 7' 843 Loomis blank? Is it better to go with MH versus H?

Re: Quantum 1310?
I have one of the older non anti-reverse 1310s that I bought probably 15 years ago. Man, I can't speak for the new one's but this old one is tough. I still fish spinnerbaits on it in-tight with a 5'6" pistol grip red/black Quantum Lite rod. What a great combo.

Re: which P-Line?
From my experience using CXX moss green in heavy cover shallow water situations, I think that 12lb is like 17 in some other brands, and 17lb CXX is like 20+ ibl test in other brands. CXX is great for these applications on baitcasting equipment, but I wouldn't use it on spinning gear.

I thought that i read somewhere about some of the Japanese blanks being like ultra small custom production jobs. Is this correct?

I like gamma copoly on spinning reels. Low memory and minimal twist issues.

Curado spool question
What about putting a deep spool from a curado 100dsv on a curado 101d? Will this work?

Re: Your favorite Shallow Cranking Combo
I don't really care for BPS rods but I thank their best is the Crankin'Stick. I throw shallow cranks on a 6'6" medium paired with a supertuned Green curado 100 and 15cxx. Also, I use a 6' Browning Fritts MH (really more like a ML) and Lews BB-1H on 17cxx.
