So I went up to Banks Lake in perfectly miserable weather to fish for some Smallies and proceeded to catch a few. I was using the LC Fat RC BDS in the Ghost Minnow pattern. After breaking the lip on my 1.5, not the first time I have done that  , I tied on the .5 version and still caught them. ...

Re: The Chronology and Evolution of MB 110s
FYI, For anyone that doesnt already know: Dont store your JDM baits outdoors in the summer. Japanese lure makers use a thinner plastic than US makers. In the heat the baits will be damaged. I found this out the hard way with several 110's that had the balancers sticking in the tail, middle and/or f...

Re: Super Pixy vs. Steez 103
I have several pixies and one Steez. I love the pixies for their feel. The Steez feels different but still very good. If it matters to you the Steez has a drag that clicks, where as the pixy does not. This can certainly have its advantages. If that is important, then go with the Steez.

Re: Pixy use
I got mine on evilbay. They seem to be a bit harder to come by than the Yellows or Oranges as of late. Keep your eyes peeled and they can be had for a decent price. I will be sending it to DR for his expert touch this winter.

Re: ETEC 115 vs. Optimax 115 which one
Just curious,.....why would you never put a 4 stroke on a boat? There are lakes over here in Washington that will not allow two stroke motors because of pollution.

Re: Who has/had the best fishing show?
Pound for pound, I would have to say that the most information given out about the target fish and how they are fishing and what to look for etc would be Lidner's. I agree with the previous statement regarding the religious plug at the end of the show. Roland occasionally gives some good advise but ...

Jota DorumStick F4 1/2-64XFti-SB
Does anyone have any experience with this rod? Is the SB new or has it been offered in the past? It appears to look good for lighter applications but want to hear from those with experience.

Re: Daiwa listens to its clients!
Well, I would personally like to see Daiwa have Mr. Ito take a pixy and give it the treatment similar to the TD-Ito. Call it the Pixito perhaps. With this crowd, I would imagine it would sell fast and furious. I would buy a couple just to give my two yellow pixies some more company!

Re: megabass F4-610 GT3 Shiryu
I have the Kistler Glass/Graphite crankbait rod and I am looking to add another crankbait rod. How does the Shiryu compare for those that have used both. I find the Kistler rod a bit too floppy/loose. I was almost looking for something a bit more stiff as it felt like I was missing hits. Would the S...

Re: almost new td itos out on ebay!!!!
I tried the TD Ito out on Saturday. I had her rigged with a drop shot and then also with a weightless Senko and the reel performed great. I am happy and will now do some comparisons between the Ito and the Steeze.

Re: almost new td itos out on ebay!!!!
I will consider myself lucky. I received my reel that was supposedly 9+ and it is. Mechanically very sound and smooth and there is one very small nick in the paint (smaller than a pin head) on the top where your thumb would lay across. I was really stressed but it appears to have worked out. Any pro...

Re: almost new td itos out on ebay!!!!
Do these reels have a click drag or click spool adjust. knob like the steeze or are they more like the pixy in terms of adjustments?
