Dan could you possibly weigh a 2500 Sustain FJ? Seems like it should be lighter than the Twinpower FD; but specs say its the same.

Haven't fished them but did spool on line and the TwinPower 1000 and 2500 spools fit on the Vanford C2000 and 2500. I wish there was a 2000 non-shallow TwinPower 2000 spool. Is the Vanford 1000 and C2000 spools the same diameter and the C2000 is just deeper?

Can you confirm what "long stroke spool" means i.e. is it taller like a Stella has always been; or is it the same spool height as all other Shimano spinners except for the Stella?

Hi Bantam and TT, I sent 3 brand new Stella FE's in for platinum service a few months back. They came back without a scratch, which was my biggest fear, and they are smooth but they feel stiff if that makes sense. If you spin the handle you maybe get 4 or 5 revolutions vs the 8-10 they used to have....
