Re: Steez Racing Design 701MH / HXB-ST

Does the solid tip mean it's a stinger tip? I think the stinger tip is a designation that Megabass uses and those have all been fiberglass, if I'm not mistaken. Daiwa designates their solid tip rods as "megatop". I could be dead wrong, though. Ahhh, that's right. You are correct Sir. 8-)

Re: 2019 Best Buy

Of all the stuff I brought in 2019 on thing was Plano new terminal tackle case. It’s trimmed in yellow and slim and it’s something I use ever outing that has been one of my Best Buy’s of 2019. I highly recommend it. I really like the look of this box. I could definitely see it working well for me.....

Re: Sensitive Moving Bait Rods

Are not top water lures moving baits? Where do you stand in terms of buying the most sensitive rod since not much sensitivity is needed as opposed to the ability of the rod to impart action on the lure with little to no effort, to cast accurately ( taking length into account of course) and the abil...

Search over...Core 51mg7 has been procured 8-)
I think you'll be happy with your purchase. I have one mounted on a Cumulus 71MH, and it is my designated rig for T-rigged baby rage craws. I've fished it hard for years, caught a lot of fish with it as well, and it still keeps slingin'.

I hear ya on braid and frozen temps. Shimano used to make a Calcutta DC 250 that may be worth a search.

Re: DC Reels: Curado and Metanium for Steelhead / Cohos?

What pound test do you usually run? Line capacity may be an issue with mono if those fish take big runs. They may be OK with braid though.

Re: Jdm 19 Antares & Metanium DC close in price, which one?

It looks like the Metanium holds a bit more line, if longer casts with a heavier fluoro is part of the equation.
