Are you doing the carbon thang to any of your Steez reels, Rick?
Come on now...I not the conductor of that train wreck, I was just train hopping. All my reels are still pristine \:D/
Ha! Forgot who I was asking...

I have mine on a Western Flip. Great outfit for smaller T-Rigs or flylined Senkos.

baking soda works well for this.
Thanks Bassaurus, I’ll have to give this a shot. Do you make a paste out of it, then rub it on?

Thanks for moving to the correct forum, Cal.

Here’s one of mine. Former version Exsence DC and Nautilus.
Nice combo, what are you using it for?
Throwing small swimbaits for spotties.

Megabass Rod Fix?

Not sure where to post this, here or under Maintenance. I have several Megabass JDM rods with either sticky rubber coating on the reel seats or peeling finishes.

Has anyone come up with a fix on how to eliminate the sticky rubber finish?

Re: Show off your bigbait setups!!!

Here's one of swimbait reels, I suppose the Livre handle makes it eligible for Enthusiast status, otherwise it's just your typical mundane Tranx unworthy to be seen in this particular forum. What baits are you using your casino for? Here are some baits I've thrown with it. For larger baits I have a...

Re: F5-75X7 Extreme Mission

I fish the Ika weightless, big hook is often enough weight to get the bait down pretty easy, and I just fish it like a T-rig worm, slowly dragging it on the bottom or through brush. Very effective bait. If it’s windy and I’m having a hard time feeling the line, I sometimes put a tungsten nail weigh ...

Re: Sunline Defier Armilo for cranking?

Armilo is good for the money, but the green Defier is the cat's meow! I have used it for cranking, and topwater for years without any issue. Granted it is expensive for mono, but well worth it IMHO. I heard rumor early last year that they were going to stop importing the green Defier so I bought up ...

Re: F5-75X7 Extreme Mission

Jorrick, I love mine for throwing Fat Ikas. I have used it for T-rigging other creature baits but I really like it for the Ika, my buddy turned me on to the EM and he also uses his for the Fat Ika. Thanks man but you got me thinking What line size are you using just in general with that rod and how...
