Re: New 2012 GLoomis Rods

Bantam, Any chance you can take a picture or post a release photo of the GL2 trout Jig rod handle. Just curious what the foregrip looks like. Thanks man, as a HUGE fan of the regular trout series and IMX ul rods, I must say the new GL2 series looks nice....A new Stradic and a 6'8 or 7'2 ul would mak...

Re: WTF!?! : Yuki Ito Works His Magic Once Again, the F1-66Z

Had a similair setup but also had the F069Xks also matched to the Daiwa Exist native custom 1003H also had the F068XS in the Destroyer series. Was a beautiful rod also. They were amazing combos just not ul enough for my type of fishing so I sold them all and stuck with G Loomis. Megabass build quali...

Sparky, Contact Jun at Japan Tackle......Shimano Japan sells a machined handle for the Stella FA series reel. Its under their custom parts line called Yumeya...I used to have them on both my FA stella 1000"s and they worked great..............looked good also. Ranger 619VS/Brian

Re: Info. on Shimano Fireblood?

GH, I too am slightly confused. I wrote a mate in AU and the specs for the website are not for the rods I listed. These 3 are for the AU light tackle market.....Both freshwater and more so their saltwater Black and Yellow Bream fishing. He assured me the rods are quite light. No exact stats though.....

Re: Info. on Shimano Fireblood?

Where are you getting the weights for the rods....The weights listed on the page I scanned is for the reels not the rods.........I looked on the rod page and it listed lure and line weights but not the actual weights of the rods....... Ranger 619VS

Re: Info. on Shimano Fireblood?

Hydra, I have the Shimano Australian Catalog. It shows the three rods, specs and handle photos.....I will try and scan them into a picture and post it later after I get off duty. The 7'2 ul model is very nice. Be a great trout rod for larger rivers or for me fishing out of a boat.....I have a mate d...

Re: New products-Part 1

I will hold judgement on the colors till I hold the reel and see it in person. Pictures are to one dimensional and can be deceiving The direct drive handle and the new spool design will make the Stradic Mg and the Sustain feel awesome I bet, based on my JDM Shimano purchase.........Might buy a Susta...

Re: New products-Part 1

Bantam1, The new spinning reels look great!!! Might make me change from my beloved Twinpower Mg 1000 to a Sustain 1000. Can you provide weights on the new reels. Also does the Sustain and Stradic have the SR type handle that threads into the gearing like the Stella FB. And any idea of when the major...
