When you first posted the link, it worked just fine. After you reported that they didn't swim well the link quit working. Maybe it was something you said???

CXX isn't a monofilament??? What is it then?dragon1 wrote:Superior is just as abrasion resistant as CXX IMO, but has more stretch. Also, it is a mono while the CXX is not.

Yeah, it's called a leash.ferrysj wrote: Any secrets to keeping your tackle above the waterline? I sure would hate to drop a Pixy in the water.
It may be awkward to fish with the cord attached, but that's nothing compared to trying to get the thing back when it sinks.

Re: Circle hooks for panfish?
Since the typical aberdeen is so easy to bend, I would suggest making your own by just re-bending them. Then you can experiment all you want without the frustration of trying to find the small circle hooks.

That sure makes me feel a lot safer!!!Questor wrote:Last time I flew a couple of weeks ago I boarded the plane with a couple of knives in my pocket, but the TSA confiscated my sunscreen.
Nothing worse than being hijacked by a terrorist armed with that deadly sunscreen.

Re: shad imitator
I've tried some off the storm swimbaits in the past, and haven't been impressed with the action, maybe the 2'' version perform a little better. I'm not too impressed with the action of the Storms either. I wound up solving the problem by cutting off the tails and replacing the small tail with the t...

I lost my father on Halloween Day in 1999. I still miss him and dream about him often. My earliest memories are riding on his shoulders while hiking 2 miles to a lake to go fishing... He was 86 years old.
My condolences to you and your family...

Re: Trolling Motor Battery ?
My firsts guess is that the battery you are using isn't a Marine battery. Regular car batteries are cheaper, but you sure don't save money by using them. The problem arises when the battery is discharged. The Marine batteries are made a little different. They will go through a deep discharge with no...

Re: 10 lb fireline?
I'm not sure about the exact breaking strength of the fireline but normally when i use 20lb fluorocarbon leader with the 10lb fireline, the leader normally snap first when i am trying to free my lure from snag rather than the fireline itself.. So I think the fireline is overated twice its poundage....

Re: barry bonds may be cheating...
I'm not a Bonds fan... Heck, I don't even like baseball. When reading that article I was reminded of all the infomercials I've seen on TV. You know the ones. They have some amazing new product that will do everything, and they have "scientific" proof of how well it works. The only problem is, when y...
