Re: Football: Williams tests positive for marijuana
Speaking of Ricky Williams, he just applied for reinstatement again. Wonder who will pick him up. I'm thinking the bucs will take a chance since that lost carnell williams for the year. (that is if he doesn't fail his next drug test)

Re: Quick braid question.
NO body has even mentioned the Stren SuperBraid. I find it has less wind knots and retains its color better than Power Pro... Just giving the Suffix a try but like it so far... I can't stand stren superbraid. I have it on one of my baitcasters. I just don't get the casting distance I do with my suf...

reel speed
Do you guys feel that it is better to have a slower gear ratio for swimbaits? Let me also rephrase this somewhat. Do you feel that you get more strikes swimming your bait faster than you do if you had a reel that was in the 5.0:1 gear ratio range?

Calais 200APV/ Calcutta 250 DC
Obviously, swimbaits don't seem too popular in Nebraska. I am thinking about getting a setup dedicated for swimbaits. Which reel would handle King Shads, Jackall Girons and other 4-6 in. swimbaits better?

Re: Ultimate Bass Fishing - Kelly Jordon's big spoon techniq
He basically was just doing a yo-yo technique with it. Rippin it up and letting it flutter back down. I think I remember them talking about the big shad that the bass were feeding on in Guntersville.

Re: Anyone have a Revo Premier yet?
I just got to mess around with one today when I went out to pick up some things. Really, you can't tell the difference weight wise between this reel and the core. (6.3 oz - 6.1) It is just as smooth as the other revos that are out now too.

TT did a review on the elite. Take a look at that. It should answer your question. I will say your assumptions are right though.

Re: Rick Clunn Lucky Craft - Colors + Sizes?
I would say bull bream is my top color in a 1.5. I have had fish hit that color in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska. I would say the top two colors overall are blue and bull bream IMO. I haven't tried the deep divers yet. I talked to a guy who fishes in tourneys at BPS and he said if you like th...

Re: Core vs Chronarch mg
I would go CORE. It comes with HEG...which is a BIG plus! It will give you smoother and more powerful cranking which will really help you when you fish those RCs. I don't have the Core, but I have it's JDM counterpart in the Mg7 and mine casts/pitches weightless plastics and lightly weighted t-rigs...

Core vs Chronarch mg
I don't know if it is possible to compare these two. Weight is almost identical. I'm not sure how the core would fair as a finnesse reel. Which would you get for throwing clunns, jerkbaits and plastics?

Re: Wave Tiki Stick vs. Yamamoto Senko
[quote="mrgadget"]GY Senkos do not have a recessed hook pocket in the shoulder (and the Tiki does not even HAVE a shoulder!). To rig weedless, the point of the hook must be embedded into the plastic body of the worm. Are your hook up ratios still good when embedding the hook into the worm? Also what...

Re: fishfinder/gps questions (which one, combo gps, etc...)
Not to mention, the antennas will occasionally burn up on external models (sometimes if behind a windshield) and you can also tilt the units with internal antennas and lose your signal! You can call Lowrance's customer service and they will even admit that they have a problems with their antennas. I...
