Re: Lithium based grease
Years ago I contacted one of the bigger reel companies on what they recommend for gear grease. The person I spoke to on the phone said they only recommend their lubricants, but then went on to tell me that DuPont makes a Lithium/Teflon grease that works just as well as the stuff they sell. After I g...

Helium3 or Glx?
I'm looking for a new semi-finesse casting rod . The two rods I've narrowed it down to are the Helium3 6'9" med. x-fast or the GLX 6'8" med x-fast 802C JWR.The rod will be used for small texas rigs 1/8-3/16 oz and 3/16 oz. jigs. I've heard a lot of good things about the Helium3, and was wondering if...

Damage is minimal. The blank is cracked, but still in tact. I appreciate any help I can get.
I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.

Broken blank in between split grip?
Today, I slammed the bottom part of one of my rods in the truck door, crushed the blank in between the handle and the
butt section. Is there any way to repair this?

Re: Chronarch 200 E spool?
Sorry, I didn't realize they all had different part #'s. I was wondering about the E7, but when I called I think I gave them the E6 part number not knowing. So if you could give me a price on the E7 spool and availability, I would appreciate it.
Thanks. JB

Chronarch 200 E spool?
Bantam, I called yesterday about ordering another spool, but was told they are on back order.
Could you give me an estimated date of when they will be available? Also I never got the cost.
Thanks. JB.

Re: Core MGFV Repair
Bantam, can the roller bearing be pressed out of the side plate on the Core MGFV?
If not can the side plate from the 100 MG7 work on the MGFV?

Chronarch clutch bearing?
Bantam, could you tell me if the roller clutch bearing on the chronarch e will work on the curado e? The reason i'm asking is they have different part #'s and the chronarch's is a little more expensive.

Re: Shimano Scorpion free spool issue!
I would also try removing the pinion gear, yoke, and springs, then put the side plate back on with the tension knob set so that there is no side play in the spool to see if it affects the free spool.
