Re: Need Help: Calling all Crankbait Addicts .
Well I went up to BPS and just picked up some Norman Baby Ns and a couple Model As just to get me by for now. Id actually like to get some of these profesionally painted and put some triple grips on them. Too bad they didnt have 3d eyes.. id just buy a ton of them and send them out if that were the...

Behold......I fought a Baldean Montroth in the farthest depths of Dromdor until I smote his ruin upon the fiery Lake of Smith. As my reward, the Elven princess Tith'cara reached her hand into the fiery Smithian waters and retrieved unto me this lure (it was either that, or her pointy-eared sister......

What is your definition of "Full Bodied?" Shad Raps are pseudo-flatsides - - if that qualifies, there are definitely some more good options..... Zoom WEC Z-Flat (if you can track one down) D-Bait Bomber Flat A (both the diving and shallow versions) And if you like Shad Raps....try one of these: http...

Try the flicker shads.... Those Flicker Shads flat out catch fish......they aren't really exciting or very pretty, but they are designed very well and catch everything from walleye and crappie to bass. I just picked up a Lucky Craft US Shad65 and I think it is going to do a similar number.......it'...

For those kinds of lakes - definitely the biggest boat you can.......but remember, there is a lot of maintenance and expense with these rigs, so factor that into the $$$ equation. If you blow a V6, it is going to cost a lot more to rebuild than if you blow a V4, etc..etc.... I know how to rebuild my...

Re: lipless cranks
I dig shallow lipped cranks in that kind of gig (Lucky Craft Flat CB SR will give you kind of the same vibe as the "vibes," only it just runs 1' deep or so.) BUT if you want to fish with a slow sinking vibe bait that still has a decent sized profile: SHIMANO COMPLEX UNDULATOR - silent model Big bell...

I bought some lipless baits from him - - liked the Vortex.
His paint work is killin......some of the best I've ever seen - - I tried my best to capture it in this pic but it still looks cooler in life:

I've had to return TWO brand new Lowrance X-15's because of screen fogging. The return guy even tried to give me a hard time - saying that I must be leaving them uncovered or something.... ....um...yeah, usually when you fish all day they don't have the cover on them. I asked him if Lowrance ...

Re: IMA vs. Rapala
don't take this the wrong way but, think you're looking at this the wrong way. either/or ain't the way to go here...when it comes to lures, familiarity breeds contempt...sometimes they eat a clown rogue, sometimes a nishiki pointer...sometimes a #5 shadrap, sometimes a deepx 100...and so it goes. i...
