Re: El Salto Recommendations??
Hey Chris, I run the social media for Anglers Inn and will be happy to give you general info on booking, tackle prep, logistics, etc. Additionally, I'm in touch with the guides just about every week, so I can fill you in on current conditions right before you go. I've been to El Salto and Picachos a...

As always, Cal nails it.
All of you really owe it to yourself to make the trip at least once. Rob a bank, donate blood, deplete your kids' college funds , whatever it takes

Which Pixy?
Ok, you all have sold me on the purchase of a Pixy.
Can someone provide a distilled version of the differences between the Silver, Red and Yellow versions?

Re: Japanese Magazines (Lure, Basser, etc.)
Different strokes, I guess.
I'm sure I'll enjoy every cent that I spend on it
My father-in-law told me I spent more on my boat than he spent on his last 3 cars combined....I told him that I'll get more enjoyment out of it than he got out of his last 6 cars combined.

Re: Japanese Magazines (Lure, Basser, etc.)
I just subscribed to Lure through Kinokuniya. They were very friendly and professional on the phone. Cost comes to about $12 an issue (including shipping) for a magazine I won't be able to read, but that's the price you pay for being addicted! Hopefully I can convince my brother to bring some others...

Re: Ito Griffon Zero -- Zero Color
It's signed by Seiji Kato, the head of Jackall Lures (formerly of Daiwa and Lucky Craft, where he designed lures like the TD Minnow and the Pointer, respectively). The other side is signed by his "right hand man" Ty Ono, a former Japanese tournament champion and AOY. My wife and I spent a morning at...

Japanese Magazines (Lure, Basser, etc.)
Do any of you know if it's possible to subscribe to any of the Japanese bass magazines in the US?
If so, what is the cost and procedure?
Thanks,
Pete

Re: Ito Griffon Zero -- Zero Color
Yep, that's the color. It was a gift from the editors of Lure Magazine -- no chance I'm throwing it or selling it, but curiosity was eating me alive. It was a fantastic trip -- I spent 2 days at the Yokohama show, one with Matt Paino of Optimum/Deps and the second with a former writer for Lure Magaz...

Ito Griffon Zero -- Zero Color
Can't believe I've never seen thsi forum before. I'm a tackle junkie, but can't hold a candle to many of you. I just returned from a trip to Japan, where a friend gave me an Ito Griffon Zero (in the white tube) in the "Zero" color. The color is meant to represent the Japanese WW2 fighter planes. Dar...
