Re: Practic e casting
I used to practice casting alot a few years ago in the back parking lot of the town houde complex I used to live in. I practiced getting the hang of baitcasters (1) without getting snarls and (2) for long distances. I also practiced accuracy in the house by casting to my cat with a cat toy at the en...

Re: Berkley sensation
It is good for sensitivity, but it gets frayed and beat up quicker than most of my other lines.
Just my two cents.

Re: looking to get baitcasters (not too expensive though)
I agree with frogpond, the Citica is a nice reel for $120. If your looking to spend a little more for a smoother, longer casting reel, then be sure to check out the Curado, this thing is sweet. The Curados come in the same sizes and gear ratio models as Citicas do.

I would go with the Cadiff. It looks like a tough one with the aluminum sideplates and frame.

I like twitching and ripping jerkbaits, especially the X-Rap.

Re: Which One Would You Get?
Thanks everyone for all your help! :) It is much appreciated since I don't know a whole lot about JDMs. Is the C model smaller than the regular version of the Twinpower? I'll be fishing for trout and bass from 3-5 pounds, mabye an ocasional 8-10 pounder, with small to medium sized jerkbaits, spoons,...

Which One Would You Get?
Hi everyone, I am considering between two reels now, the Biomaster 3000S or the TwinPower C3000. The TwinPower is a bit pricey I thought for the Biomaster S having one more bearing. But the TwinPower does have some more features a bit closer to the Stella. Considering prices, what one would you get?...

Re: perfect jerkbait setup
I personally like spinning rods best for jerkbaits. My 7'6" Med. Power Fast action rod is beautiful for X-Raps . I get a better feel with fast action rods with jerkbaits, especially for pumping and ripping.

Re: Japanese instructions for twinpower
Yes, I agree that the sticker is for corrosin resistance on the reel foot. The stickers come with all Mg version reels I believe. It came with my Stadic MgFA, but I took it off because the edges of the sticker became annoying. Since taking the sticker off, I have only noticed very small spots that w...

Those bowfin look like a good fight. I've never caught one, but my bro caught a ten pound bowfin on two pound test once.
