Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Makes sense. Are these going to be a similar global production pre-order deal? Or, are they expected to be in "regular" production? Also, any additional information that you can share regarding the specs/uses would be appreciated. It's a JDM line made for the Japan market, but availability on the f...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Really digging the dark sleeper (a fast taper!) along with a few other models. June 2020 isn't too long to wait. Need @bronzefly to get the pre-order links up... I will, just waiting on Megabass to give me a little bit better idea of when to actually expect them. I'd prefer not to keep guys w...

Re: Daiwa Rebellion Rods 2020

The Tackle Trap has a bunch of them in stock and shipping now. All models haven't arrived, but many have. I just picked up the 610MHRB and will be out tossing some spinner baits and vibrating jigs on it later this afternoon. They look like a high end JDM rod, and they feel really nice in hand too. h...

Re: New Saint overpriced or not?

so u think it's a dead heat? also, do u feel the same way in that they're both a cut above the nrx in almost every regard? All three are top notch in terms of sensitivity, but I've spent a LOT more time with Steez AGS Bottom Contact and NRX than I have with new Legend Xtreme AGS 74H. I prefer to sp...

Re: New Saint overpriced or not?

NOLRAMB - I might have missed it, but which new Xtreme was used here? I have the 74H and the Steez AGS Bottom Contact rod. I've spent a lot of time with the Bottom Contact, and a little bit with the 74H so far. I've drawn some comparisons, but was curious about the differences in our perceptions. I...

Re: Ideas for new jig reel after tragic accident

Sorry for your loss, what a story!

The Daiwa Steez A would be my choice for those applications. It's solid, casts those jigs really nice distances, is very comfortable in hand, and is extremely well built. TT has some good deals going on them now, shoot me a PM if I can help.

It was incorrectly listed, but it has been corrected.
Gary, these are probably delayed right?
Our stock is in transit. We expect inventory next week.

Re: Kage ultralight

We have a lot of crappie/panfish guys come through the shop. Everyone who has bought one of the Kage UL rods has raved about them. Daiwa has done a great job with these, and the Kage line in general. I'm very impressed with the Kage UL I've fished as well, paired with the Kage 1000 sized reel, it's ...

High quality cork is my favorite, but I do like quality EVA as well.

Re: The Best Swimbait Rod

The Onager is one of the best balanced big bait sticks I've ever fished. The Destroyer TS rods are sharp looking, especially the Black Jack and Poker. Those are the only ones I've fished much in the series, and both are really nice. The Black Jack is one extremely impressive rod, and its VERY versat...

Re: St. Croix Legend Xtreme 2020

I posted this on another site, but I know the Tackle Tour membership will appreciate this information about the blank differences between new 2020 Xtreme AGS and previous Xtreme. The lengths, actions, and powers are the same as previous Legend Xtreme. We can discuss the handle differences, which is ...

Re: Steez SVF AGS heavy ( blue)

JL - which heavy are you asking about specifically? Gary, It’s the 7’4” Thanks my friend, appreciate the clarification. The 74 is rated "XH" so I wanted to make sure so we're on the same page. I've used the previous generation XBD for a very long time, in fact, it landed several 10+ LMB on Falcon b...

Re: St. Croix Legend Xtreme 2020

If that handle did not look like it belonged in a porn flick, I’d be all over trying one of these out. Lol! Are you referring to a double-sided marital aide? Hey, don't knock it until you've tried it  A few of us depraved souls have had a laugh about the aesthetics no doubt, but seriously, I f...
