Re: Favorite EWG Flipping Hook

The hayabusa hooks are good
I’ve started using the brand and really have not thought much about gammy’s or any other EWG.

Re: New Fenwick Techna

Happy anniversary goldrod! Thanks for the update on the new Techna's. I've always been a fan of the original Techna series. I was originally bummed on this new release, since Fenwick didn't mention the use of any of their Aramid Veil designs, like Timco/Fenwick offers. That's good to hear about the...

For light punching / pitching, I use the SV version with a Steez SV 105 LTD spool. I really like the faster gear ratios. The light shallow spools make pitchi...

Kahen vs. Blue Emblem

I’m convinced that the Kahen is king. But they are so hard to get. I’ve got a BE in my TDZ and Steez limited but the Kahen in my other Steez limited is predictable effortless and second nature throughout the brake dial once I get it where I want. Are there any contenders? Serious contenders ? I have...

Re: New Fenwick Techna

What's your honest opinion of those guides? There are 10 guides, the bottom two are double foot and the top eight are not but the top eight seem semi micro. they smaller than normal but not micro. There appears to be a good bit of attention to detail, ie no slop at all on them. Those are my observa...
