Re: 2021 Shimano Reels
2021 Antares DC looks very similar to 2016 model, very minor changes. Yeah different DC system, maybe line capacity... tough to buy in at that price tag. It's like the iPhone, have to skip a couple generations for any tangible benefits. Let’s not talk about iPhones I’m still holding on my 8plus don...

Re: USPS delays without any reason
I think a lot of it has to do with Trump's efforts to defund the USPS. Less money means slower service. They were given 25 Billion Last year in Bailout, when they already had 2 years worth of operating budget stocked up. The USPS has been a failing institution for years, Mostly due to exceptionally...

Re: 2021 Shimano Reels
After owning the Antares HG and AR and now conquest 100hg
I really love those reels however I still have three D7 and the Core 100MG
And a D5. My personal preference of them all is the Antares AR and Conquest 100HG. I don’t see how they could improve on perfection

Decoy Hooks
This is not clickbait ( decoy hooks - click bait. See what I did there 😂) Okay as you can tell I’m still working on my comedy but with all jokes aside Decoy worm9 upper cut hook is a hook that I tried on a whim and it’s easily the best hook I’ve ever used in my life. I highly encourage you to try on...

THE JIG
Been up for a while but have a break for a few minutes Something that I really have been thinking about is fishing jigs. We exhaust the rods we feel are good for them and we pick out certain jigs based on the cover we are fishing. I had the opportunity a while back to fish for one bite using a mop f...

Re: USPS delays without any reason
Covid has little to do with it. They have sucked for several years now. I sent 2 custom rods to a friend, insured for $360, which is what he paid me for them. They got broken, then the post office refused to pay for them because they weren't listed for sale anywhere online. I sent them a $520 build...

Cold Weather Cranks Top 7
Out of curiosity I would like to know what your top 7 ( seems like a good number) cold weather cranks are ? Since I am the one asking this question I guess it would be befitting that I give a response first. The honest answer is I don’t have a lot of experience which is why I asked. That being said ...

USPS delays without any reason
Made a purchase and was tracking it and after two days of no show I called and they are trying to figure it out. Takes three days for them to get back with me. Thought it was a kink in the system then a second item same thing. Not due to weather etc. It really irritating and I’m not asking for anyth...

Re: 2020 Change of Heart
I picked up a couple of the blitz ex dr and blitz max dr last year based on feedback from this forum. Had more luck on the ex dr. I also have the do live stick but no luck on it yet fishing like a fluke. Have had good luck on the original Asura, need to pick up a couple of version 2. What OSP soft ...

Re: Nice BC reel for Casting 1/4-1/2oz baits LONG DISTANCE
First, I'm not sure if a BC over a spinning reel is the overall best choice for distance with weightless 5-6" senkos. I bet those baits catch wind and I wonder how, say a small Shimano SVS Infinity braked reel handles that with some head wind? Not trying to bash, I'm asking cos I haven't tried one ...

Re: Your most versatile rod?
After reading this post multiple times ( to get a break from the chaos of work right now is chaos unbridled) I had time to really look at my rod rack and think about this question. My selection would be rod and reel combo Power Versatile and IP68 X7 Extreme Mission/ IP79 Valkyrie 7’1” spiral wrapped...
