They end up smooth cranking but with little resistance (spin for days on freeload) and i have 5 of such *reels all except for my Antares Mgl. -*Reels - Bantam MGL 14 Conquest 16 Zillion HLC Zillion JDre...

Favorite Aldebaran Model

I’ve gained a liking to the 50e reels but now more and more looking at the 2015 alde bfs xg. I never pulled the trigger on one and I should have.
But I do love my alde MG7. What are your favorites in this model?

Re: Sometimes what your looking for, you already have

I have had this cork crucial rod for a while and a 50e reel that I bumped up in gear ratio. I had been looking for a Yumeya spool but forgot about it. A buddy of mine wanted to learn howto cast a bait caster. Well he did well initially and started to get distance and even more distance with cast aft...

I started tinkering with the idea. First I used a pl...

FYI shimano Daiwa

I brought a handle for Daiwa reels and it’s carbon fiber The standard RCS knobs wouldn’t fit the handle so out of desperation I tried to something. I had the New shimano knobs that I got from the Tackletrap and it works. Flat out work. The caveat IS I used a spacer ( sometimes I double up on the bot...
