Re: The Walking Baits: Top 5 Walk-The-Dog Picks
What would Rick do? He would toss the Lucky Craft Gunfish. Morgan on the other hand would be all over the Jackall Bowstick. ... and Negan would say screw it and throw a 12" wood chopper ;) I think Negan would be more into the "Savage Gear 3D Bat" or "Ima Big Stik"

Re: The Walking Baits: Top 5 Walk-The-Dog Picks
Although not a true "Walker" I love the Deps Buzzjet. Otherwise, I have never seen a need to move away from my Zara Spook Jr. And the original Lunker Punker is still my favorite for the big girls. 8-) I think we need a new color called "Terminus Baby Bass" Totally agree... I thi...

Re: Aaron's New Edge with Enigma Fishing
I have this rod. It's not the mono. Sorry to say when I fished with mono and with fluro the difference wasn't all that noticeable. I could detect bites but it wasn't nearly as sensitive as many other rods. Like the review I do find it to be a tough rod, I never feel like the tip is going to snap eve...

Re: Under Armour Conquers the Elements with Ridge Reaper
Looks like a nice suit but for this price I think that I'd probably stick with the Simms contender series or Gill. I'd really like to see a review on the new Simms ProDry, though it is priced way out there, and the suits from Huk.

Hmmm, high end Shimano or low end G.Loomis. I vote Zodias.

Re: G.Loomis NRX rods go “Green”
Hey spookybaits, sorry my bad, only saw the posts about the blue threads, didn't see anything about the reel seats/glue. I think thats only been seen on the casting which I don't think there is a review of yet. I personally havent encountered it on my original blue/matte rod. Funny, I've been to two...

Re: G.Loomis NRX rods go “Green”
I'm really surprised tackletour didn't ask them about it as well, seeing as how you can't even mention the NRX in a thread without the problem coming up. What's up with that? Probably becuase it was already talked about at length in the original review. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewgloomisnrxdsr...

Re: G.Loomis NRX rods go “Green”
Good read, I was totally confused what the green rods were about and the guy at my local shop also wasn't sure if there was a difference in the actual blank material. I'm with Zander though, I prefer the original rods, maybe the blue threading isn't for everyone but at least they looked different an...

Re: How G.Loomis Rods are Made - A Behind the Scenes Look
Great writeup, really interesting stuff. I think its awesome that Shimano decided to keep G.Loomis here in the USA, I'm all for buying the best products out there wherever the origin is but I'm even more for buying the best products made right here in the US. Really found it cool how each stage of t...
