Re: Brass Gears for 51MG
I'm still using the reel. Caught fish on it this weekend with no issues.

Re: Brass Gears for 51MG
So after a couple weeks fishing, the parts I used worked. The chronarchs are back in business.

Re: Brass Gears for 51MG
I used the following, BNT3377 and BNT1514 and in the house, everything seems to work fine. I'll post an update when I put some tension on the line but at this point, its much better than the paper weight it was with shot gears.

Re: Brass Gears for 51MG
Do you have a part number for those? What is my best bet for something that is currently in production?

Brass Gears for 51MG
I'd like to replace my worn out gears with brass in 2 of my 51MGs. I ordered the brass gear for the 101D after some internet reading but the pinion that came with the set would not fit. Which part numbers do I need for brass gears for my 51MG?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Your favorite reel and/or brake system for skipping?!
I've skipped with a Chronarch 51mg, Alphas ito and a high speed Zillion and they go in that order. Chronarch is the easiest and the Zillion is by far the worst. I'm skipping jigs under docks on 12-20 lbs mono. Lost a Chronarch of the back of the boat last fall so Im looking for another if someones g...

Re: BPS Johnny Morris baitcast reel
I have 3 of the JMX1000H reels (pre-2005 i think) that I bought used off the auction site for $40-55. I liked them so much that I bought a new one from bass pro(06 model). I returned that reel because the casting distance was horrible out of the box. I thought I had a bad reel but the second reel di...

New Loomis Rod... Which One?
I have an old 3 piece broken rod that Loomis is no longer making. I was told that I can have a credit of $306 towards any of their rods using their Xpeditor Service. Now, I'm thinking BCR853 but I am open to any other options. As of now, my next best rods are a Crucial and a BPS Pro Qualifier so thi...

Haven't used any of those lures other than Lucky Craft but the schooling fish have eaten the paint off the sides of my sammy.
