Re: new or old Stella?
I haven't loged enough time on my newer stella to say its worth the price difference but i will say the new line management system is da bomb. Casting is a breeze and line twisting is no where to be found.

I vote for the MBR842C it's worth every penny. This stick is great for dropshot as well.

It's ok. The skirt does not last long. You should try River2Sea Crystal Spin Spinnerbait

Re: Core Vs Chronarch CH100MG
I had a chance to play with my friend's CH100Mg some time ago and just when I was starting to like the reel.......he told me that it was discontinued :beat up: I have a couple of Core and loving them. Just wondering if any lucky anglers out there who have both and can compare if the Core have lived ...

Re: poor man's Shimano Stradic FI Review.
Got to love the new line management system. I cast to death for a full day and line twist/wind knots are no where to be found....on the 1000 size reel. Kudos to Shimano for releasing Stradic MG 1000....about freaking time lol

Re: Shimano Clarus
At their normal price of 59.99 to 69.99 these rods are already a great value. You would have to spend well over 100 bux to get anything significantly better.

Re: Shimano UL Spinning Reel....
I took the leap and bought the STL1000FD...........What A Beauty!!. I think the new Propulsion Line Management System may have ended my quest for an UL shallow spool reel. Can't wait to test it out this weekend.

Re: Congrats to Jeremy Sweet!
I fish Barrett a lot as well. This year was great! Too bad it slowed down this month. My buddy and I only had 80 fish when I went earlier this month :P Being able to fish LMV is a treat. I have been fishing there for several years now and I still enjoy it. Look for me in the green aluminum boat if ...

Re: Avid vs. Crucial
My vote for the crucial any day because I'm not just buying a rod....i'm also buying their support. I have 4-5 Crucial rods for over a year now with no problem. One did snaped (my fault for trying to land a bat ray lol) It was replaced it no question asked. Perhaps some members took your comments li...

Re: Congrats to Jeremy Sweet!
I must say that LMV and Barrett are my two favorite lakes to fish. Can't wait until next month to hit Barrett again.Bantam1 wrote:It is LMV and I really enjoy fishing there. Lots of really smart big fish there
ok that was off topic lol
Congrats to Jeremy for landing that beautiful beast!
