Re: Has anyone ever ordered from PLAT
PLAT is my go to shop. I've ordered from just about every Japanese shop that is willing to ship overseas. While some may have slightly better pricing, I've yet to find one that provides the level of service that PLAT does. Typically I receive my order within 3-5 days. I have not had any items held u...

Re: Have anyone tried Daiwa Pixy PX68 SPR...
Sorry, I jumped the gun before reading the post. Just pointing out there's some great info already on the board if you are willing to search through it. I believe CAL had a review on one of the MB Steez. You may be able to use that as a reference pt in addition to the SPR reviews. Hope you find the ...

Re: KTF Aldebaran Finesse
The most frustrating thing with KTF reels is that they have been incredibly hard to get for people outside of Japan, they only ship within the country and they are usually sold out immediately. It looks like this one is going to be released through a lottery system so it will be even harder to get y...

Hi Steve,steve1206 wrote:Since we are on the topic, you Sniper experts....I have heard that the SNiper has some issues in very cold weather..Any truth? Noticeable?
I've fished the Sniper in the winters of STL all the way until it's completely iced over for the past few years, have not had an issue personally.

Re: New Combo! My first Pixzilla!
Oh beak... Last year you were making fun of us on the delta for having too much flash on our setups. This year you're the biggest addict I know of... How many rods have you had coming in from Japan these past few months? We'll need to have a showdown, UFM/LTX vs. SPR/Pixzilla. Sick combo thoug...

Re: Stretch - Sunline Shooter vs. Sniper
In my opinion the sniper does have a little bit more stretch than the shooter, but the fact that you can now buy the sniper in bulk size spools makes it very tempting. Even though it's cheaper, I still consider the Sniper to be premium quality FC... I was in the same position not too long ago, went ...

Re: Front deck pics?
Not quite a front deck pic, but was cleaning the rods after a trip out and decided to lined it all up. A tribute to the AM front deck post... As impressive a collection of rods I've ever seen. Truly awesome =D> Thanks RET, this is what a few years of TT does to you. We're all hooked! Thankful...

Re: Front deck pics?
nice gear guys so do you guys fish those megabass rods? Believe it or not everything gets used on a fairly regular basis except for the last three on the right. They haven't been fished for one reason or another. (ARMS Paraizo, Jota SB and the White Python) Pretty OCD about keeping the rods clean. ...
