Have you looked for Chronarch E gear sets, they came in a 6:_ gear ratios. Good luck.

Re: Shouldn't Megastrike have an odor to it?

I still have my tube (starting to get low) and it has a very strong odor, to my nose just as strong as when it was new. Not positive, but my tube is at least 6-8 years old. :-k I've used bang for the most part because Megastrike leaves that greasy residue on my lures until I wipe it off, plus it inh...

Re: TD-Z Spool Tension Issue

TDZ's do have a clicking cast control knob, I had the same issue with my Z and it turned out to be a simple
replacement of the drag washers.(Carbontex from smooth drag.) Good luck,Eric.

Re: use of sharpie markers on soft plastics

Be careful to only use a little as a sharpie will continue to bleed (be absorbed) into the plastic bait and I've found that at the end of the bleeding area the color starts to fade to a purple hue. This is adding to clear/ white soft plastics of course. As far as odor, most soft plastics already hav...

Re: Rod sensitivity subjective?

Why are you so worried about it, I've never come home after a day on the water and thought about the fish I may have missed - the only thought was of how fortunate I am to get a great opportunity to be on the water. =D> All graphite/ carbon rods are sensitive enough to catch fish, just find the one ...

Another huge advocate for Fuji ECS reel seats, simply the best for whatever flavor you strap on top! One of the many times
one can make the overused statement " if it ain't broke .....".

Re: invizx vs vicious pro elite

I know everyone has their opinion on line, good and bad, but InvizX has been perhaps the most reliable of all the great
fluoros I've used. You will especially like it for spinning reels as it has similar characteristics to mono. Good luck, Eric.

Supertuning reels

I have always run my reels (mostly high end for sake of conversation) stock and keep up with maintenance per seasonal requirements. My question is to those who have had their reels given the full 'supertune' in terms of the internal polishing of spool ends and gears, have you noticed a decline in du...
