Re: Steez Rods - value at lower cost?
I have a lot of steez rods... This past season I had ton's of QC issues with them. I want to love them, but I just don't anymore, and especially at their cost. I think they have the intended actions nailed, everything else seems to be a toss up. My compile-x's don't have the qc issues, but the sens...

I have mixed feelings about them... but the main kicker to me is, how did the Father on the movie The Christmas Story put it....

Day 16 is now for Powell Rods, so it doesn't look like they are changing the costs on Daiwa any further.

Re: Will TT's review of the Tatula Type R sway you?
I'm going to wait until the 16th day of the TW sale when they mark the T3's down even further and order more of them... Not overly impressed with the Tatula myself... I'm sure its a good deal for what it is, but I think the T3's for $215 or less is a much better deal then the Type R from what I hav...

Re: How many will survive?
Seems like 90% of the people I see mention Denalli are pro staffers, or get the discount on them thru the Fed Nation? I picked one up at a not so local tackle store I visited, wasn't impressed. I just got a 13 Black Envy to try out, decent stick, wanted to try something not so over the top as my oth...

Re: Steez 103 Line Guide ?
I would, but it just needs a dab of glue. I don't see the point in sending it off and waiting two weeks when all they are going to do it glue it themselves.

Steez 103 Line Guide ?
One my newer 1yr old Steez casting reel, the gold cap for the line guide on the front of the reel keeps popping off. I push it back on, but it falls off again... Other then sending it back to Daiwa, is there an easy fix? Just a dab of super glue, though i would prefer not for such an expensive reel....

sending multiple rods back in one tube
I have a few warranty rods, which I am not at all pleased with after 1 season and some less than that. Can I send them back in the same tube, or do they need to be sent back seperately? I have a Steez 6'3mhc that the epoxy around the top guides has turned white? I have a Ceilo 7'4"HC that the blank ...

Re: One B/C Rod for Jerkbaits, Spinnerbaits, and Deep Cranks
I'm not sure where around here you are going to use true "Deep Cranks"? only place I can think of that you would be doing that is the lakes in VA and possibly Conowingo if your club goes there. If your just tidal fishing, then I wouldn't buy a rod for here locally with the intent of fishing deep cra...

Re: Sunline sx1 or Berkley nano for wacky senko spinning set
I've never used the nano, but the SX1 is some good stuff... I love it to death. I tried it this past summer and when it was on sale for the 2 for 1 a few months ago I stocked up big time.

Re: what's your favorite casting rod for fishing blade baits
7'MHC Steez rod. I want back bone... I also use braid main line, and a 2' or so floro leader. I like uuummpphh in my set up for 2 reasons. One - your going to get stuck a lot and it helps you bend the hooks to get it back. Two - I catch a lot of big fish this way, and atleast once or twice a day I h...

Re: 13 Fishing Envy Black Sensitivity?
I can let you know in a few days, decided to order one Monday night. I was on the fence w/ the edge, but I'm buying a new house and decided to go a bit cheaper this year.
