Interesting read. I think instead of searching for the One, you should have a Battle of the sub $125.00 rods. Omen vs Veritas vs Maxim vs Daiwa Lexa vs Daiwa TD-S vs Fury vs Duckett Ghost etc. Seems this area is growing rapidly and the quality is finally starting to show up.

Good write up. Upon further investigation on Kistler's website the guides have aluminum oxide inserts. Also the reel seat is a Webo. Any information on new Greys products? For the money the rods are well made, nice looking and fishes great (GR307'6" 3wt).

After reading the review sounds like a pretty decent reel for the money. Wonder if the drag had an issue? Seems way off for the advertised poundage. Overall sounds good to go. Might have to try one out.
