Re: RaGe vs. Spicy beaver

how durable? RI baits tend to be on the softer side anyways. I am mostly talking about the appendages. The Rage baits rip off if a blue gill grabs 'em.

Re: Issues with Tackle Warehouse

Here is their contact info: www.tacklewarehouse.com/ info@tacklewarehouse.com (800) 300-4916 I'm not mad, just noticed the difference between now and years past for my experience. I generally pa...

You should take a look at Sunline FX2 in 50 or 60 pound.
This. I like 60.

Saw a post on another well known forum and someone for advise on high end reel. There were about 20 responses and every one told him not to waste his money. ](*,)
If it's the same forum, try being the one to refute a moderators dumb advise and watch how fast you get a threat to being banned.

Funny to me that I thought I would follow the guys I know. Instead I am much more interested in the Elites. I like 5 best fish over most fish. Just my 2 cents.

RipRap Special is quite the versatile rod. I like mine for flat sided cranks, Series 3, and small squarebills.

Re: Irod Genesis II

For me, I don't like the 704 for moving baits unless you count hollow-bodied frogs moving baits. It is my short frog rod when I'm in tight quarters. I also like it for big jigs and t-rigs over 3/8. Everyone fishes differently, but this is not a spinnerbait/buzzbait rod for me. I would use your 693, ...

Re: Irod Genesis II

What do you mean by "all purpose"? What techniques are you wanting to pull off? Those are two entirely different rods. What I wrote was a little confusing. I meant that I'm looking at the Fred's stick for cranking or the 704 as an all purpose rod. Gotcha! I have both. What do you want the 704 to do...

Re: Irod Genesis II

I bought the 744c last year and like the rod, but it was pretty tip heavy. I added a counter balance weight on the butt and it was crazy how much that improved the feel of the setup. Still trying to figure out the next one to try out. Probably either the 763CC "Fred's Crank Jr." or the 704C for an ...

Re: Who is the MOST over rated ?

Trying to convince someone a Gen 1 13 Fishing Omen on clearance is a better rod at the same price than an Ugly Stix for jigging walleye is tougher than you think. Interesting. The Ugly Sticks earned their reputation as unbreakable. You know, bend the tip all the way down to touch the handle kind of...
