Re: Megabass vision 110 replacement hooks
There are no hook replacements that make any jerkbait reliably suspend because water has different temperatures throughout the season (which makes it more or less dense, which affects suspension). Lead strips are an easier way to add weight when needed, and that will change week to week. Case in po...

Richard is awesome to deal with! Bought a Zillion from him. The reel was in great shape and the packaging was top notch.

Reel Dress Up Parts?
Is dressing up reels still a thing? Where do you all buy your parts? Seems like they are out of stock quite a bit and ebay the prices are insane.

I have 2 Legalis LT 3000-CXH. I use them regularly and like them a lot.
Re: New pixy
This is based on the Alphas Air TW, not the tatula 70/80 frame. The new Tatula BF 70 is already available on Tackle Warehouse. It has a BFS spool. Gotcha. The overseas market already has the Salamandura Air TW, which is the same reel as that Tatula BF70. However, its a heck of a lot better looking ...

Re: OG's vs copies
It was my post, but the more I think about the state of ingenuity in the industry and the desperation for brands to be able to fill every spot in your tacklebox with every type of bait wreaks of desperation to stay relevant. The fact of the matter is that things were better when brands didn't offer ...

Re: Who do you fish with the Most ?
It was with my late father-in-law and we mostly fished tournaments. Now it's with my wife who is now my tournament partner. Hopefully one of my kids grows up to love fishing like I do.

Re: OG's vs copies
Berkley Nessie - Gan Craft Jointed Claw Shape-S The Nessie is a knockoff of the Grow Design Works Flag. There's really no ethical argument to be made for ripping off someone else's innovation and hard work , nor any legitimate excuse as consumers to buy knockoff products. You can tell yourself w/e ...

OG's vs copies
Two questions 1. I'm not up to speed on all things JDM, but what are some of the baits folks are mad at that the BIG brands are copying? 2. What are your opinions on copied baits? For reference not what Spro and Strike king did where they licensed or had rights from original companies to make copies.

Re: Forward Facing Sonar and Co Anglers
Aimlessly casting with nothing to cast at doesn't inspire confidence. If the boater isn't sharing info or guiding the co to make the right casts. It's not fun and with more and more guys going to it the feedback in some of our local clubs are that it's changing things for the better for boaters but ...

Re: why chartreuse?
I believe most color patterns are for the anglers. How confident you are In a lure changes how you present the bait as well as some other factors such as fall rate and sound/vibration. But colors to fish are relegated to a few colors on the spectrum. That being said some colors do matter and IMHO th...
