The pinion gear on the ct is too long for the standard width spool in the regular alphas/sol
So, basically it is a steez sized reel that has spacers to fit the ct spool.

Will the 6.3:1 gears from alpha ct fit in a regular alphas or sol?

Re: Top Water rod for 1ozers

If you could find one, hard to find, the Deps Constrictor is a very nice shorter rod for 1 oz topwater baits.

Re: Alphas sv105

Maybe I'll hold onto it and send it to someone to take it apart and clean it up for me. I bought it for the lure/line weights you suggested and rod power you suggested so it would be nice to get it working right. I'll try to loosen up the spool tension a little bit and use the mag dial more. I don'...

Re: JDM Rod for Finesse Jigs

If you like the 853C so much why not consider getting an IMX Pro 853C with a full handle. My megabass rods are awesome, but for 1/8 oz to 5/16 oz finesse jigs I love the IMX Pro 802C.

Re: Alphas sv105

Thanks, I read through that. I don't think it's a line problem. I guess it could be the bearing needs to be flushed and oiled but I don't have a tool to get the shaft pin out so I can't do that yet. Could be the inductor thing too I guess. All I know is I don't have a problem with the steez sv tw, ...

Re: Daiwa Z: Times Have Changed

I have one on my Punching and Swimbait Rod and one on my Power Versatile. I used to have one of them on my Dobyns Dx795 Flip. Good For bigger jigs/swimjigs and reasonable sized swimbaits and for punching with.
