Didn't come with a carbontex drag, but it has one now !

Would that be good......? Is there any difference in the gear, weight, material ? Or is it just red.

EDIT: Finished taking it apart and the gear is much lighter ....nice !

A while back I bought a used sol and finally got around to breaking it down and cleaning,tuning it and I opened her up and found a RED main gear .............What is with that ? The reel came with a ize yellow spool and a 4 bearing Handle which I just figured was taken of a tdz. Is this a different ...

What is the difference between the stock silver spool and the yellow/gold ize spool ......baitcaster i'm talking about.

Does anyone know of a curved drag star that will replace the sol's straight one for use with a recurved handle, I have seen the posts showing how to alter the stock one but was wondering if there was a straight replacement.

What other diawa reel series have interchangable parts with this reel, in particiular the palm plate side. I got a call from a buddy tonight who took his reel apart to clean a few weeks ago and he cant find the palm plate..... :shock: , what he is gonna need is basically all the internals, i have an...

For 99$ you cant go wrong with the pfluger supremes, I have 3 never a problem , they are light and come with nice smooth stock drags.

In the past I have done a few trades and buys from members, hopefully they remember and leave feedback to get the ball rolling.
