Make sure it did not bend your spool pin.

Re: The Power in IKE, Abu Garcia & Mike Iaconelli's MIKEC76-6

Are they designed to make 2-pound fish feel like 5-pound fish?

Check to make sure that the inductor is not stuck in the extended position.

I know for sure the Sol uses the same system and I believe that the Fuego does also.

Re: Kastking reels

Kastking is it now. The last I knew they were pushing Pinnacle products as being the best kept secret in the fishing world. The products the push with their shill posts are about as reliable as the information provided by the most of Moderators that test them.

Re: Reel Casualty

Original Lews Tournament Pro. Initially they were a great bunch of reels, but after fishing them hard for about a year they become very geary and the casting distance faded as the bearings did not hold up (yes they were clean) two of the five I had the clicking drag star mech. broke in them, and whe...

Re: What's Your Favorite Topwater Bait? ~~~~~~<:------<<

I own 95% of the baits mentioned in this thread, and they are all very good. But when I think about topwater fishing I always have a Zara Spook Jr. in Bone White tied on. They just catch fish.

Re: Need a frogging only reel...

If you can find one the old Revo Premier Gen 2 makes a very good frogging reel. Good line capacity, great drag, and smooth as most reels on the market.

Re: Reel Gear Physics

People want to talk, when they don't understand physics   So help a brother out, what is it's name? I was not referring to you with my previous comment. I just find the people who are hellbent on calling this leverage over torque to be hilarious. Leverage is the effect of output force bei...

Re: Reel Gear Physics

Exactly. The longer wrench does not add torque, it reduces the amount of force required to achieve the same amount of torque through leverage. There is no leverage in reels and there is no leverage in wrench. Leverage requires an object to exist past the fulcrum, you are just applying power to the ...

Re: Reel Gear Physics

So, if your logic were correct, a longer wrench with the same size socket wouldn't add torque? It definitely adds leverage. Exactly. The longer wrench does not add torque, it reduces the amount of force required to achieve the same amount of torque through leverage. There is no leverage in reels an...

Re: Reel Gear Physics

First off I'd like to say that I am not a physicist nor is it my specialty and will probably be wrong with these figures. Please feel free to chime in and correct me. Sometimes when I'm bored at work the gears in my head turn it gets me thinking... A lot of people TT like to upgrade their handle le...
