not sure why u would have both a X7 Extreme Mission and a NRX893, both are great rods but basically the EM can do everything the NRX893 can although the NRX is a tad bit more sensitive in my hands..

Yes u did, regular 103h spools were gold, Type R/R+ spools were red

Cant find any thats as close a beauty to these... http://www.megabass.co.jp/products/gear/accessory/reel-protector.html A little more suited for round baitcasters like their lins. But shdnt be a problem for low profiles. Even my lin didnt come with any reel cover. I hope my friendly tackleshop stoc...

most of my rods except those with TCS i retrieve with 3 fingers above the trigger (pinkie is behind). During cast I only have my index infront of trigger. i'm with you.. i'm a righty so i cast with the right hand, my index in front of the trigger.. on normal retrieve, i'm using the left hand, thumb...

The X4's have been "subsidized" by Megabass USA to a degree in an effort to help get them out on the market. Sorry brother, I just feel that they took the best sellers and jacked the price on everyone. Megabass has never had any problem selling rods in the U.S. It's just business. Crankbaitmaker ha...
